Android Auto now also offers support for SmartThings, Samsung’s smart home platform. From the car, the integration makes it possible to directly control smart home devices and activate scenarios.

The integration between Samsung SmartThings and Android Auto is available immediately via the Android Auto application.
Samsung SmartThings offers the possibility to control equipment of Samsung’s smart home system directly from the Android Auto interface. With the new support you can therefore operate smart home devices that are linked with Samsung SmartThings from your car, such as smart lighting or options on the TV.
On the screen of SmartThings for Android Auto it is possible to place up to six shortcuts for the smart devices.
